Hüseyin Onur Aydın, born in 1982 in İzmir, completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Diyarbakır. He won Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2000 and graduated in 2006 as a medical doctor with an average score of 84. After working as a responsible physician in Sinop-Durağan Central Health Center between 2006-2007, he started his surgical education in 2007 at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery. During his surgical assistant, he received basic surgery, breast and endocrine surgery, trauma, emergency surgery and intensive care, gastrointestinal system surgery, burn diseases, surgical oncology and laparoscopic surgery. After graduating in 2013, he started to work as a general surgery specialist at Şanlıurfa-Siverek State Hospital. Between 2013 and 2016, he continued his studies in the fields of laparoscopic surgery, trauma and emergency surgery, gastrointestinal system endoscopy and colonoscopy. In 2016, he received the Turkish Board of Surgery surgical association certificate of surgical proficiency. In the same year, he started to work in Başkent University General Surgery Department as a General Surgery Specialist. After working as Assistant Professor Doctor in 2017-2019, he received the title of Associate Professor Doctor in September 2019 and continues to work at Başkent University Ankara Hospital. He is a member of the board of directors in Ankara Surgery Association and still continues his education and studies in the fields of gastrointestinal system surgery, oncological surgery and laparoscopic surgery.
